The entry list for rounds seven and eight of the 2020 FIA World Rallycross Championship, the Logitech FIA World RX of “Pirineus-Barcelona 2030” (17 October) and the Logitech FIA World RX of Catalunya (18 October) has been published by the FIA.

The 20-strong list includes all of the permanent teams and drivers in World RX 2020, although KYB Team JC is yet to nominate its second driver alongside Sweden’s Robin Larsson. Finland’s Jani Paasonen has stepped aside from the Ferratum Team Ford Fiesta, which he has raced at every round so far this year, to give World RX of Finland podium finisher Juha Rytkonen a drive at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

Great Britain’s Oliver Bennett will make his first World RX start of the season in the Xite Racing BMW Mini and former Euro RX Super1600 driver “Luigi”, from Hungary, has signed up to race in a Skoda Fabia Supercar.

Belgium’s Enzo Ide was forced to miss rounds five and six of World RX in Riga-Latvia due to clashing commitments but he hopes to be back on the grid in Barcelona with a JC Raceteknik Audi S1, and Euro RX regular Tamas Karai, from Hungary, will race his own Audi S1. France’s Patrick Guillerme will compete in a Hyundai i20 Supercar.

The event will also be a double-header for competitors in the FIA European Rallycross Championship for Super1600, the first time the two-wheel-drive cars will have been on track as part of the World RX package this season.

22 drivers from 10 different nationalities will line up on the grid, including a five-strong Audi A1 line up for defending multiple champions, Volland Racing. 2019 Euro RX Super1600 Sweden winner Marius Bermingrud, from Norway, will race a Tedak Racing Alfa Romeo MiTo, and RX Academy Champion Rasmus Tuominen (Finland) will race a Renault Twingo for former champions SET Promotion. European Rally Championship regular Jan Cerny will join the rallycross contingent in a Skoda Citigo.
