As Team Hansen MJP’s Timmy Hansen secured the FIA World Rallycross Championship in the final round decider at the SABAT World RX of South Africa, it was season long front runner Adam’s Racers who took the 2019 Fantasy RX crown.

As part of the dramatic finale, with a team that included GRX Taneco’s Niclas Gronholm and Timur Timerzyanov, ALL-INKL.COM Muennich Motorsport’s Timo Scheider and a full house of four correct bonus questions, Adam’s Racers moved from P4 heading into the last round to take the title. It was a tie for the win in Fantasy RX at Cape Town RX, with Westgate RX and FS Racing both choosing a team of Monster Energy RX Cartel’s Andreas Bakkerud, Timerzyanov, Scheider and GCK Academy’s Guillaume De Ridder, with three of the four bonus questions also correct.

But, P5 in South Africa was enough for Adam’s Racers to move into the lead in a strong season where only at the World RX of France did the Great Britain competitor score less than 1000 points. Tom61 finished second overall for the season, just 39 points off the title, with Mesquita Portugal RX Team in third.

The most picked driver in the final round of Fantasy RX 2019 was GCK’s Cyril Raymond, in Pool D, with Bakkerud just getting the most picks in Pool A. The highest scoring driver from the weekend was Gronholm, ahead of Bakkerud and Hansen.
